Funny...
As a show is being written, it starts to take on a life of it's own, like that of a human being. It starts to tell you what it needs. It talks to you the way it can only do.
Lillie wrote some awesome dialogue (between GG and Izzy) for a scene near the end of the show. I had a song already written a song for GG that follows the dialogue. But after re-reading the script, I realized the show didn't need that song there because the scene was calling for something else. So we moved it to another part of the show where it works great now. It found it's new home and fits quite well with some other awesome text that Lillie wrote. In it's place in that first scene I mentioned, I was inspired to write a new song that better fits the scene and the plot.
Sometimes magic happens within all the chaos.
I'm loving this discovery process now that the show is taking on a personality of its own.
