So we're really getting things done-er. That we are.
The script just went through a major revision today with our co-writer Lillie feverishly emailing me (hopefully over a cocktail) from 30,000 feet as she heads to Kansas City to mix her band's new CD. There's nothing like writing a show and doing it by shooting short missives (emails) from earth into the ether. Can't wait until we're all in the same state, town... room.
Two songs completed this past week and two new ones being written this week. Set up Twitter, Facebook, this blog/website. And our new spanking new Kickstarter video completed (we'll do the official launch this Wednesday).
Writing this show has been a lot of stopping (ugh) and starting (yea!) since we began it last September with just a simple request from SOFA: write a show. To see how far it has come and is going is quite exciting. And why do I feel we're just getting started? Lots to do in the coming weeks but when we're passionate about this story like we are, it's a joy. Love what you do, "they say." We do.
